One of our last weddings in 2018 was a Farnham Estate Wedding. Katie and Ronan tied the knot in Callmullen Church in Meath and celebrated afterwards in The Farnham Estate Cavan.

Farnham Estate is a beautiful location for any wedding. The wedding venue is very separate to the main part of the house and hotel which gives it an exclusive feel. The ballroom itself can cater for weddings up to 240 people with prices starting at 71 euro per person. You also have the option of getting married outside at Farnham Estate and you won’t find another venue with such a idyllic setting.

GETTING MARRIED AT CHRISTMAS

Getting married at Christmas is one of the nicest times of the year for a couple of reasons. Generally speaking it is much easier for guests to get to your wedding. Wedding venues also tend to have a lot of decorations on show which look really well in photos and videos. There are also a number of things to consider with regard to daylight. One of the shortest days of the year falls in December so either way you will have very little daylight. We always encourage our couples to have their ceremony as early as possible and try and do their photos straight after the ceremony.
